Tracheophyte (Tracheophyta) Any plant with a differentiated vascular system; i.e. all plants except the liverworts, mosses, and hornworts.

Pseudopodium (pl. pseudopodia) 1. A leafless stalk that bears the capsule in Sphagnum and other mosses that lack a seta.
