Gorilla glass victus can drop from two meters in height which is taller than I am, onto a rough surface like asphalt and has 2x better scratch performance than our previous glass.
And it turns out that microscopically rough surfaces tend to be more hydrophobic, because they can trap pockets of air and minimize the interaction between water droplets and the surface of the material.
Sometimes maybe I'll go to a little more sanded ball or a little more ball surface to get it into a roll quicker for me, because they use a lot of oil.
