品为茜草科植物柔毛金鸡纳（鸡纳树）Cinchona pubescens Vahl (Cinchona succirubra Pavon)、白金鸡纳树C. calisaya (Weddell)、金鸡纳树C. ledgeriana (Moens ex Trimen)其杂交品的完整或切段的干燥树皮。
